The course of doctoral studies:

1. Methodology and orientation seminars:

During these seminars, students undergo detailed training in research methodology, the requirements and issues of DBA or PhD projects as well as the methodology for writing a thesis and publishing in internationally renowned journals.

2. In-depth theoretical training:

Depending on the research areas chosen, students receive in-depth training or theoretical upgrading, adapted to their profiles. During this period, students must in parallel define their research subject and choose a methodology and approaches.

3. Documentary research, case study and drafting of a progress brief:

After having carried out systematic and in-depth documentary research, students must carry out several case studies, the results of which will be detailed in a stage research thesis (one per semester), which will then be validated by the research director and the school monitoring committee.

4. Validation of the 1st year, obtaining the DEA-R:

At the end of the first year, success in the assessments, the final exam and the defense allow the student to obtain a BAC + 6 diploma: the DEA-R (Diplôme d’Études Approfondies de Recherche). He can then either continue his research work to obtain a DBA, Ph.D. or doctoral degree or enter the job market.

5. Writing a professional research thesis:

The second year is devoted to continuing and deepening the research work already started during the first year. The third and final year is devoted to solving remaining problems, eliminating uncertainties, analyzing and validating results, writing a research thesis, discussing with experts and specialists. renowned and finally, to the publication of articles in internationally renowned journals.

6. Thesis defense:

The thesis must be validated by the research director and a reader before the defense before a jury. The jury is made up of the research director (s) and recognized experts in the sector concerned. The reader is appointed from among the members of the jury.

7. Award of the diploma:

On a proposal from the jury and provided that the regularity of his enrollment in the school, as well as the other curriculum requirements, are respected, the school will issue the candidate with a DBA or Ph.D. diploma at BAC + 8 level.
